Living Room Reveal Part 2

When designing our living room, I gathered inspiration from all various design styles. My favorite styles being Scandinavian, Mediterranean, laid-back Californian, with a touch of French Country. I wanted a neutral living space with loads of texture.

Living Room Reveal Part 1

I am so excited to finally share what I have been working on for months...our living room refresh! Well, the first part of it anyway. When dreaming up the design for this space, I knew I wanted a mixture of organic, clean, classic, cozy, and calm. I leaned into a modern cottage vibe with plenty of linen, light woods, earthy greens, while keeping it a very neutral and relaxing space.

Dining Room Refresh with Lightology

I had a friend describe lighting to me as "the jewelry of the home". It sets the mood and can make or break a space. That's so true. If you have followed me on Instagram for any period of time you may have noticed how much I love lighting.

One Room Challenge / Week Five/Six / Painting with Clare

This past week I painted the entire den with a crisp, fresh coat of white paint. It looks soooo good and I can't wait to show you guys the final result!

I was so excited to try out Clare paint! I have always ran to the hardware store to pick up my paint and so it was such a treat to discover the paint I wanted online, along with all of my painting supplies, and have it shipped right to my door.

Hallway Bathroom Refresh

I have recently been working on some home projects...just updating and refreshing our space. I am trying to renovate on a small budget so I've been mainly using what we already have, picking up some things here and there for awhile now, and selling things online that we no longer love to use the money to purchase quality items that we see owning and using for years to come.

The first room I decided to work on was one that has been a lonnnnggg time coming. It's a room not many people usually see (at least online) since it doesn't have any windows therefore no natural light. I like to shoot all of my photos in natural light so I've never shared this bathroom...until now.

Framing a Keepsake with Frame It Easy

We've had this gorgeous map of a city that is special to us in many ways for awhile now but I had been unable to find anyone to frame it for me. I had this vision of it hanging above our couch in our den and I couldn't wait to display this 1963 original street index map in our home.
