What I Read in 2023

 

2023 was filled with many memorable books and quite a few duds as well if I am being honest. lol I read (and listened) to a total of 63 books this year. Here is what they were...

The Trip of a Lifetime

In May of this year I had the time of my life traveling to Europe with my older brother, Nate. Over the previous few months we had planned on what countries to visit, reserved accomodations, researched rental cars vs trains vs Ubers and booked excursions.

We decided upon Barcelona, the South of France, Monaco, the Amalfi Coast, and Rome. Over 15 glorious days we explored Monserrat, stayed in a French medieval village, caught snippets of the Grand Prix, roamed the streets of Positano, and stood in awe of the Colosseum.

Bedroom Refresh Part Two

 For the second part of this bedroom refresh, I had my heart set on a beautiful white slipcovered bed. I wanted the room to feel airy, romantic, organic, and cozy. I partnered with Demarchelier & Co. on the bed of my dreams, all new bedding, antique side tables, and antique trunk.

 Our bedroom was ready for a refresh. I knew I wanted to keep the limewashed walls, handmade linen chandelier, and vintage Turkish rug, but everything else was getting an upgrade! I began searching online for the perfect pieces to compliment our bedroom and Chairish was one of the places I searched.
