Since the kitchen was getting a complete makeover I thought it was high time that the dining room got a little refresh as well. I was so thrilled to partner with Lulu and Georgia to freshen up the space!
We extended the white brick into the dining room and I love that detail. I painted the rest of the dining room walls white to match and it feels so fresh and clean now.
I have a weakness for a beautiful rug. I had my eye on the Lemieux Et Cie rug for quite some time and it could not be more perfect in our dining room! I love the warmth and depth that it adds to the white background.
I have always loved the look of a dining room bench and I had decided if I ever chose different dining room chairs that I would opt for a bench as well. I really like to create interest and character in a home by not having everything so matchy matchy. For our dining room bench I chose the Kelmscott Rush Bench. It adds a rustic element to the room and I love how the fur throw draped over the bench softens the whole look.
Lastly, I chose the Claudia Dining Chairs and I couldn't be happier with my choice! They are a beautiful neutral option and the wood design is so simple but unique. They are also very comfortable!
I just adore the new dining room and can't wait to make memories with our family and friends in this space for years to come!
