Our Outdoor Side Patio Before/After

Our side patio has been a work in progress for awhile. It was a carport before we installed a window in the den and fenced in our backyard. It's just been sitting there, very plain and ugly for some time before I decided to paint the concrete a fresh coat of white and create a functional outdoor space.

Here are a couple photos of the side patio before we did anything...

Pretty rough, huh? In all fairness, this was when our den window was being installed and we hadn't painted the exterior of our house yet. We have since painted the exterior, installed a window and new door, pressure washed and painted the concrete, installed a privacy fence, and added outdoor furniture.

Here is the after....

I partnered with Lulu and Georgia for some beautiful outdoor pieces. Pictured is the Manila Indoor/Outdoor Dining Chair, Agatha Indoor/Outdoor Dining Table, Tala Muse Table Lamp, and the Clarabelle Indoor/Outdoor Stool. Each piece is so well made and fits so beautifully in our outdoor space. 

The side patio is now such a happy place to be and now with the cooler autumn temperatures it is a lovely spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book. I still plan to stain the fence, plant some vines along the fence, and bring in some more outdoor plants but for now, I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!
