If you missed what the den looked like before then you can see all the before photos here.
It's such a brighter and happier space now with the natural light pouring through the window, the white sectional, and warm tones that the worn leather ottoman, chair, and natural white oak media console bring to the space.
I had so much fun designing the den and curating pieces that I knew would look perfectly paired and our family could enjoy for years to come. I love clean, neutral colors with textural touches and every single item was thoughtfully selected for this renovation.
We absolutely love our Room and Board Hudson Media Cabinet and Lars Leather Chair. They are such high quality pieces and add so much organic charm to our den. I foresee having these items forever and passing them down to our grandkids. They are that good.
I partnered with Poly & Bark by adding their Miami Sectional Sofa and Porto Ottoman as the focal point of this space. They are luxurious feeling pieces of furniture and are so incredibly comfortable!
Totally loving our large picture window. The natural light that floods in through it every day is so dreamy! The choice to cut a massive hole in our wall and install a window was one of the best decisions we have ever made. It's made the hugest difference!
I can finally add some plant babies to this room and I love the pop of greenery everywhere!
I know I have already mentioned this and shared the process here, but I mortared and limewashed the fireplace and have been so happy with the transformation! It was so darky and moody before and after limewashing the stone and sanding down the mantel to find a beautiful natural light oak underneath, it's felt like a completely different fireplace!

ReplyDeleteThank you! Definitely a game changer! :)
DeleteThis is just gorgeous. I've been wanting to do something similar with a frame tv. I'm wondering what size you went with and how you hid the wire that connects the tv to the box. Thank you!
