One Room Challenge / Week Three / Design Progress

Hey friends! Here we are week three of the One Room Challenge! I am so excited to report that our window is completed! I can now move forward with my project and it feels so good! Next up: limewashing the fireplace! Thank goodness that we have a three day weekend ahead of us since I am a mama first and foremost and for the most part have to work when my husband gets home from work.

Because the construction of the window caused a little delay in plans, I don't have any progress on my end this week to show you yet. I thought I might share more of the mind behind the design and let you get a sneak peek at our new sectional that we picked out this week! Even though the furniture and most of the decor pieces have not arrived yet (fingers crossed) I am envisioning what this room is going to look like and it makes me so happy to see it come together!

We have wanted a sectional forever and spotted this one on Poly and Bark and completely fell in love! I love that it has that entire Mediterranean vibe I am going for too.

I've ordered some artwork from Juniper Print Shop that I am having custom framed by Framebridge to create a gallery wall surrounding our Samsung Frame TV (which I'm super duper excited and giddy about getting). I've been playing around with different pieces of art I want to incorporate and it's been a fun process.

I have ordered an arched mirror for the fireplace mantel and am really hoping it arrives on time. After limewashing the fireplace, I can't wait to decorate it and the entire room with more plants! To have another room full of natural light is this girl's dream!

Above are a few of the pieces I will be incorporating in our newly renovated space. I love the white, clean, and classic feel but enjoy adding cognac leather and light woods to the space to give it a warm touch.

I can't wait to show you guys the process of the limewashed fireplace this coming week! You can follow my entire project on my Instagram stories

See you next week!
