My Anniversary Shopping Trip Haul

Every year on our anniversary we try to get away to focus on each other and enjoy one another. This year we decided to spend the weekend at one of our favorite spots: Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville. We had so much fun spending the night at the same hotel we spent our wedding night, eating ice cream, enjoying a steak dinner at Connors, and of course, doing a little shopping.

I always love to see what other people find (I've discovered some favorite products and companies that way) and so I thought I would do a little show and tell!

I snagged this adorable dress on the sale rack at Anthropologie and I am smitten with the sleeves, minimalistic style, and elegant ease of this piece. There are still a few left on their site if you want to purchase one for yourself! You can shop the link here.

I purchased a calligraphy kit awhile back and I just haven't taken the time to sit down and practice but when I saw this calligraphy booklet at Barnes and Noble with loads of practice sheets, fonts, and step-by-step instructions, I just had to pick it up! I'm really excited to teach myself a new skill and use the art in countless ways! If you are interested in picking up one than you can shop for it here.

I hadn't been in a Lucky Brand store in years it seems but we were strolling along and I decided to take a peek inside. I am so glad I did! They were having a massive sale and right when I saw these unique gold hoops I just had to snatch them up! I love minimalistic jewelry and I could see myself wearing these hoops over and over again. I no longer see this specific style on their website but they do have equally beautiful earrings here and they are 40% off!

While I was in Lucky I spied this adorable chambray shirt with a bow on the collar. I love to keep my closet stocked with good basics I can wear over and over again but also pieces that have an unexpected or unique twist to them. This one is also on sale!

A shopping trip wouldn't be a successful one without a good book. I saw this one at Barnes and Noble and decided to add it to my ever-growing library. Girl at War is a novel written about a young girl who finds herself and her family in the middle of a war that changes their lives forever. It's the journey of how that war shaped who she became and the courage she finds to return to her country to face her past and find her place in the future. I can't wait to read it.

Being that I am the kind of girl who adores scents and the memories they evoke, I just had to pick up a new signature scent. I had heard about Tocca perfumes as long as I can remember but I have never tried one for myself. You should have seen Josh and I standing by the perfume display shelf in Anthropologie. I took an individual sniff sheet (what do people call those anyway?) and tried each one and let Josh take a sniff himself. We both decided (unanimously as a matter of fact) that Liliana was the most me. I wore it that very weekend and Josh said it reminds him very much of a perfume I wore while we were dating.

This petite size perfume is available at Anthropologie and the packaging is as beautiful and whimsical as the scent itself. I love the tiny bottle (perfect to carry in your purse of while you are traveling!). It's simple but oh so elegant and you really can't beat the price point.

Last but not least, I just had to pick up an Anthropologie Christmas ornament! Anthro has the best ones! :) I chose this extravagant initial ornament. If you want one for yourself than click here and grab one up before they are gone (which I don't think will be long). This was the perfect new little addition to our tree this year.

I hope you enjoyed browsing my recent finds and perhaps found some inspiration for yourself or as a gift for someone special!

Have a lovely weekend, friends!
Hannah
