Ten things that I am loving right now...
1. The plant selection at Home Depot . Anyone who has been to my home knows that I adore indoor plants. I scored the little guy above at Home Depot not too long ago and a beautiful succulent arrangement that was in my previous post. This time of year is a great time to buy some indoor plants because they are very decently priced considering the season and you can often find them on sale!
2. HGTV's Fixer Upper. I know I am really behind the times but I just recently began watching Fixer Upper on Netflix and love it! Chip and Joanna Gaines are the cutest couple and I am always amazed at how they can transform a place. I have to be careful because
before I know it I would have watched 2 or 3 epsiodes in one sitting.
3. While we are on the subject of tv shows I must admit that I am a HUGE fan of anything ABC Bachelor related. The drama. The romance. The crazy girls. Always wondering if he or she will find love and yes, if it will last more than 6 months. I watch the show with my friend Lindsay every week and it's always fun to comment on each event as we watch...often wide-eyed and open-mouthed.
4. I usually like to include a book in my top ten but I'm kinda at a stand-still when it comes to reading of late. I am about to begin the book The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy Keller with some girls and I'm pretty excited about it.
5. I love to color! I now have a little collection going on so it's always fun to pick up a new one! I just recently bought Paris Street Style and it's my current favorite. So fun! The gold foil and elastic outer band add the perfect touch! I was recently at Books A Million and was blown away by their selection! Here is a picture I snapped of only about a fifth of their selection!
6. I have finally gotten sucked into the world of Snapchat. Blame it on my friends. Peer Pressure is alive and well. It has been fun to see what my friends are up to from day to day and to also catch a glimpse into the lives of people I have stalked on Instagram for so long. Add me. I realize I still need a profile pic but have decided to wait for a day when I actually decide to do my hair and makeup. My username is @thistleharvest if you want to add me!
7. "Fun" and creepy fact: Did you know there are over 6 million people buried under the streets of Paris? Researching what all we wanted to do on our visit there we discovered the Paris Catacombs and my husband insists we make it one of our must-sees! The Catacombs were built around the 18th century, as the graveyards around Paris were overflowed. I love facts so while reading about the underground graveyard, I came across some interesting things to note. Google pictures if you dare.
- There are several private entrances into the catacombs around Paris but entering them is not advised for the reason you could easily get lost and never be found.
- During WWII, the French Resistance used the catacombs as a hideout. Also, there is an abandoned Nazi bunker.
- The depth of the catacombs is 20 metres, equivalent to a five story building.
- The tunnel network is around 200 miles long.
- There are markings on the walls dating back to the French Revolution.
8. I recently had a friend come to visit and being the weirdos that we are, we decided to have a pore party. We put these bad boys on our noses to clean out pores and we got great results! I always love
a new facial product and this is one I will go to again and again.
9. I love Scottish music. It relaxes me, empowers me, and always reminds me of that beloved place. Recently, that's all I've been listening to on Spotify. Years ago, while in Scotland, my roomate kept this one CD on repeat in her flat and I just had to snag a copy of it before I flew home.
Perthshire Amber will always hold some of the sweetest nostalgia for me.

10. This post wouldn't be complete without something coffee-related. My favorite go-to coffee lately has been Community Coffee. It was created here in the South and it really is
just a good ole boy cup of coffee.
Hope you all enjoyed my March Ten! I would love to hear from YOU some
fun finds you guys have discovered lately!
